Residents are provided with a clean, safe, and supportive home environment that allows them to reset, breathe, and begin rebuilding. Private and shared rooms ensure comfort while promoting responsibility and independence.
Our program is intentionally designed not as a caregiving or assisted-living model. Each resident maintains independence, cooking, cleaning, daily routines, while receiving the structure and encouragement needed to stabilize their life.
Residents gain access to resources that promote forward movement, including:
Job placement assistance
Transportation support
Optional life-skills development
Guidance for goal-setting and personal progress
We cultivate an environment where every resident feels respected, valued, and connected. Shared spaces and community engagement help rebuild trust, confidence, and the feeling of belonging.
Our goal is for each resident to move from crisis or instability into self-sufficiency. Whether transitioning from homelessness, recovery, displacement, or life challenges, the program serves as a bridge toward long-term housing, employment, and independence.
The Sunrise Life Advancement Program operates on a Non-Lease, Month-to-Month Membership Model—not a traditional landlord-tenant lease. This structure is designed to give residents greater flexibility, ensure community safety, and support the unique goals of individuals transitioning into stability and independence.
Residents are admitted through a membership agreement, allowing them to stay on a month-to-month basis. This offers freedom, simplicity, and reduced financial strain—perfect for individuals rebuilding or transitioning.
Because Sunrise is a life advancement program, residency is based on participation in the program—not rental occupancy. This means:
- You receive permission to stay (a “license to occupy”), not tenant rights to the property.
- Sunrise maintains the ability to enter rooms for safety, wellness, and maintenance.
- Residents must follow program rules to continue participation.
Life changes—and so do needs. Our month-to-month structure allows residents to:
- Transition out whenever they are ready
- Move into permanent housing without breaking a lease
- Adjust their stay as life circumstances shift
Sunrise can also end the membership if community guidelines or safety standards are not followed.
Because this is a program environment, all residents agree to follow:
- Respectful behavior toward housemates
- Drug- and alcohol-free living
- Participation in a stable, healthy living routine
- Compliance with safety rules and house guidelines
This ensures the entire community remains safe, peaceful, and supportive.
